The campaign was ‘What Kind Of Cruiser Are You’ and the challenge was to collect as much market segmentation data from the community as possible.
The Global Social Media development team built this social application from the Global Content System (GCS) for Cruiseabout Australia. Users self identified their cruising preferences. Based on 6 questions there were over 700 possible outcomes which had to be matched up to dynamically create result pages. The data was leveraged to segment the entrants for marketing activities.
This campaign and application was awarded the Network Promotion of the Year by the Cruise Line Industry of Australia.
